Dear Valued Clients, 


We have missed seeing you for the past couple of months! We hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.  We have received many questions regarding our reopen date.  We have yet to set a reopen date as we are still awaiting further instructions from our government officials.  As soon as an official reopening date is established, we plan to notify you through our email, website and social media.  


Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.  While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for Boston Medical Aesthetics. We have been closely monitoring recommendations form valid sources including: the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAP), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa) and have updated our protocols accordingly.  


This means you will see some changes at Boston Medical Aesthetics when it's time for your next appointment.  Some of these changes include:


  • We have increased the frequency of which we sanitize all surfaces using hospital-grade disinfectant proven to kill the COVID-19 virus. 

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided and its use required prior to entering the office. You will also find hand sanitizer in our reception area and in each exam room to be used as needed. 

  • Our office will communicate with you before your scheduled appointment to ask some screening questions. 

  • You will also be asked questions and receive a no-contact temperature check upon arrival to your appointment.

  • Our staff will also undergo daily temperature checks.

  • Please be sure to arrive on time to your appointment. If you arrive early, you may be asked to wait in the building lobby or outside to avoid congestion at the check in area and waiting room.

  • We ask that you come to your appointment individually (without any guests or children).

  • All clients must wear a mask to their appointment to protect themselves and those around them.

  • Our staff will also be wearing masks, gloves, scrubs and / or lab coats.

  • In an effort to promote social distancing, you may notice that our waiting room offers fewer seats.  In addition, we have removed magazines and other items that promote unnecessary contact. 

  • While we all LOVE spending time and catching up with our patients, in-office visits will look and feel a little different now. Visits will be more focused and we will limit face to face time with your provider by focusing on treatment-related conversation.  If necessary, phone calls will allow more in-depth conversations prior to and after in-office visits.


Additionally, we have made some changes to our scheduling process: 


We have decreased the number of appointments per day as well as increased the interval between appointments to allow for increased sanitation measures and to minimize the number of people in the office at a given time.

  • We will require a valid credit card on file at the time of booking.

  • If not already on file, you will receive intake paperwork and consent forms via email. These must be returned prior to your appointment.

  • We have added Apple Pay as a form of payment to allow for hands-free check out. 

  • If you would like to acquire products you can either continue to purchase online here or you can ask your provider and they will get them for you. If you know ahead of time that you need products please let our schedulers know and we will have these set aside for you in advance of your appointment.

We strongly encourage online booking through our website as our front desk staff's work load has greatly increased. 

While we realize that these measures may slow us down, they are all being done in an effort to promote the safety of both our clients and our staff.  We will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation via those sources listed above and will update our protocols as necessary.  We greatly appreciate your patience and we promise to do our very best to accommodate our clients’ needs. We plan to expand our schedule in an effort to best meet the needs of those clients who have been eagerly awaiting their appointments.
